Ian Landsman is the founder of UserScape, a great help desk web based
software solution sold internationally.
Ian was successful pretty early on with UserScape. In just a few months he was
able to get a good number of links to his new product and that enabled him to
launch it with a large beta group. That very solid beta group was a very big part
of HelpSpot's early success and really got things rolling for him. In the first
month after HelpSpot went on sale the company sold enough licenses to cover
all the startup costs they'd accumulated over the 8 months of development.
Ian is also the author of his own blog which has a strong following with many
software developers. He shares his experiences and thoughts on software
development and running a business through his blog. « Back to full list of bloggers
